And Here Comes the Rain

I got home just in time.  Ran a couple early errands and the rains held off until I was back home all safe and sound. And dry.  Staying in the rest of the day.  Sewing room beckons as I consider making another  Sunbonnet Sue.  Also have a "spools" design I'd like to try.

Returned a movie to Red Box outside of Walgreen's.  The next ones on my list aren't available yet. Brooklyn, Hateful Eight, and Spotlight.  Watched Bridge of Spies last night, and enjoyed it a lot.  I pretty much like all Tom Hanks' movies.  A friend (Ann Robson) told me about a Maggie Smith movie she wants to see but I couldn't find it anywhere.  (The Lady in the Van) Well, I did find it showing TODAY at the Rose Theater in Port Townsend but couldn't find it anyplace else.   The book has 48 holds on it at the library so I opted to buy the paperback on Amazon Prime.  It should arrive on Saturday.

I was going to gas up at Safeway but a fuel truck was taking up three spaces and the other pumps were busy.  Another day.  Maybe on Saturday morning at the Long House near the casino when I drive into Port Townsend.

I'm sitting here with the window open and the door closed. Closed off all the rooms in the house really as I'm running the clean cycle on the oven and it has a tendency to "take over."  I was going to try and clean it by hand but with my bad shoulders (and crummy back), getting down and in there was just too much work--And I ended up cutting the top of my hand on one of the tries. Even had to go searching for a bandaid as the top of your hand bleeds easily.

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and pay bills online today. I do hate paying bills but....at least I'm able to pay them.  For a long time (most of my adult life) trying to get the bills paid was always a struggle.  And that's about all I got today.
