I went to the doctor yesterday because I was just plain sick and tired of hurting. I figured this weeks' long issue with my hip and low back was sciatica so I did attempt some stretching exercises on my bed. That was pathetic. I used to be able to do floor exercises but getting down on the floor these days isn't something I'm especially fond of. I managed a few on my bed but the ones requiring I get on my hands and knees or my stomach were really sad. I kept telling myself that the next day I'd be a little better -- all the time knowing that the next day wasn't gonna' come. Anyhow, I went to the doctor and lo and behold, she didn't feel it was sciatica at all -- but bursitis. I've been plagued with that more than once so we opted for an injection. The only time I actually like getting a shot.
That night I was able to sleep without having to get up before I wanted to because my hip hurt. Man, did that elevate my mood! Seems like everytime I go to the doctor, I come out determined to do better this time and keep walking. I usually make it for one day in a row. ha ha But we'll see. I'm still wanting to get this into my daily routine.
The last couple of days I've proceeded to move back into rooms that had been shampooed. I probably lifted, tugged, and pushed things a little too much but I wanted it done and I knew I was the only one I could ask to do it. I'm super pleased with everything and now I'll take my time finding nooks and crannies for this thing or another. Since I discovered a "lost bin" of my favorite knickknacks hadn't been given to Goodwill after all, I went through that box to retrieve a few to display.

I made a quick Walmart run early this morning as I wanted to buy this fusible material to try and make some quilt blocks like I've seen demonstrated on a Youtube video.
I love my sewing room being combined with my office. Will be handy when I want to follow some directions on Youtube while sewing. Not to mention, I like the convenience of everything I enjoy doing being in the same room. Well almost.
I do have a corner reserved in the kitchen for various crafts and when I want to do a jisgsaw puzzle. I also work my crosswords there whenever I'm eating.
this is the sewing area next to my office area. It's very neat right now but it will mess up with time.
That table in the far corner holds a supply of paints, wires, rocks, beach glass, etc. I've been practicing putting wire on stones and beach glass.
these three very large painted rocks I'm using for a little while to see if it will make my chair mat stay taped to the carpet so I'm not tripping on it. I may have to buy another mat if this doesn't work.
here's my first beach glass pendant. I hope to make lots more.
Well, time to get busy around here. Off to the sewing machine I go.
