A Happy Note

 I decided to take a nap. Got about a half hour in and the phone rang. Said "Scam Likely."  When will I learn?  I answered because it said Nordland and I wondered if it was my brother.  I remember now that his name comes up when he calls but at the time, I was half asleep. Some guy says "Mrs. Blankenship?"  I should have known then but I said "yes?"  And then he asked me how I was.  I told him I was okay until he woke me up. He apologized and said he'd try another time (was selling insurance). I told him Don't bother.

I tried to go back to sleep but then the fu... ing flicker started tick tocking on my drainpipe outside the window.  I knew sleep was done until I went to bed tonight.  Did I laugh these interruptions off with a hee hee ha ha?  No, I didn't!  I seldom think anything is funny anymore.

But on a happy note.... my daughter called and said to look at my granddaughter's Facebook page. Got up and signed in and there she is with her fiancee and the airplane crew.  Everyone has a mask on and they're engaged. They're on their way to Florida to see her dad and his family.  Happy for her. She's had a thing for this guy since she was a teenager I think.  Name is Louie Guevarez. That's my second granddaughter that has become engaged in 2020.
