Thanksgiving Night

 Had a real nice meal delivered at 3:30. I had a light breakfast and no lunch so I was hungry and ate it all.

Spent the day dinkin' around. Painted some rocks white so I can start painting designs on them this week. Also started a new puzzle and finished knitting this small baby blanket.

I didn't take a nap today but I'm sure feeling like one now. Have to work through the slump period as it's way too early to think about naps or bed. (It's 6:30)

The heat in the hallway is always warm. Guess management wants it that way. I often keep my door open all day depending on how I'm feeling.  It was warm in here all day long and I even kept my window open. Think it was just a nice day all around because when I went outside, I didn't wear a coat and I was fine. Weird November weather.

I've had Life below Zero and Alaska the last frontier on most of the day. Way too many commericals. Especially for the Alaska show. I sometimes mute the tv because I get so disgusted with them. Had another scam call early. I answered and it was another machine that wouldn't listen to me when I told them to go to hell and F U.  Yeah, I'm a real lady sometimes.

I'm glad I made a doctor appt for my tongue issue. It continues to act up and I'm more curious than anything about what is causing it. Been going on for a couple of weeks. Be my luck to have it be covid. I just hope the doctor can figure it out. Google was no help whatsoever.

I baked a blackberry pie as I wanted to give slices to some of my neighbors. Always tricky when I use the oven in this place. The thermometer said 425-450 even though I set the dial at 350.  I watch stuff carefully when I bake and have to baby things along. Irritates me that the manager wouldn't fix the problem when I complained. Just had the maintenance guy bring in another stove from another apartment and the problem was the exact same.

I went down to the kitchen to take a picture of the cook. One of the kitchen help guys was there too. He delivers the meals. Nice kid.
