Rain is coming down steadily but that's fine with me. Now I don't have to pull out the hose to water plants. I would prefer it clear up a bit by Friday and Saturday, however. I have traveling plans and people to visit. Am also hoping to hit North Beach and search for rocks. But then, I guess I can do that in the rain if I really want to.
I started watching this show called Pioneer Quest on Amazon Prime last night. Pretty sure I've seen it before but I like watching stuff like that so I'm going to watch it again. Think I dreamed about it too. I also stayed up to watch that Discovery Show about Justice in the Woods (cops finding people chopping illegal trees). Kind of boring as it mostly just showed this guy driving his patrol car.
I got up too early so it's gonna be nap time before too long. The neighbor's truck wakes me up at 5:30 almost every morning -- unless he's leaving at 6:30. I guess that's the price you have to pay when your neighbors are so close. I'm just thankful it's not a dog barking. That would raise my hackles.
Been scanning in odds and ends in one of my scrapbooks and came across the stories of Mohammed Ali when he visited Port Townsend in 1980 to attend the funeral of Chuck Robinson, a potential boxer in the Olympics. I knew Chuck's folks as his dad worked at the mill (lives in Brinnon now) and his mom was in my high school class. She's since passed away.
Well, not much to yak about today so guess I'll get busy. Need to wash up six of my t-shirts that my sister-in-law said she'd make into a quilt for me. I have one she did of Rhody Run shirts and it's my favorite. This next one is Redskin shirts that don't fit, and an Officer and a Gentleman shirt, blues brothers, and hard rock cafe.
