The customer service is way better, not to mention the distance to get there.
Anyhow, I barely slept Saturday night but last night was 100% better. Amazing how fast some drugs can work on what is ailing you. A guy on Facebook told me about this OTC drug you can buy on Amazon for UTIs so I'm going to look into it since those blasted infections always seem to rise their ugly heads at night or on weekends. Called D-Mannose.
My P.A. today felt my dizziness problem that has plagued me for weeks is Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. My paperwork says:
Vertigo is caused by a problem with the inner ear. The
inner
ear is located behind the middle ear. It is a part of the
balance center of the body. It contains small calcium
particles within fluid-filled canals (semi-circular
canals).
These particles can move out of position. This may happen
as a result of aging, head injury, or disease of the
inner ear.
Once that happens, moving your head in certain ways may
cause the particles to stimulate the inner ear. This
creates the feeling of vertigo.
An episode of vertigo may last seconds, minutes, or
hours. Once you are over the first episode of
vertigo, it may never return. Sometimes symptoms return
off and on for several weeks or longer.
She gave me this exercise to do on my bed a few times a day and you can see it on Youtube too. So that's my agenda tonight. Been watching this Country Music documentary that Ken Burns made for PBS. Enjoying it so much. And so many of the record albums they show are ones I had in my own collection when I have a ton of LPs. I miss them sometimes but.... now I have an Echo. Thank you Jenni. I'm enjoying it so much. I take it to whatever room I'm going to be in for a while. I made a long list of singers to ask her to play and so far, the only she couldn't present was Al Martino. Which surprised me.
Amazon brought me a set of keyboard sticker letters to put on my laptop keys as some were fading. I am trying to cut down on using my Amazon card but sometimes they just make it too easy.
I worked on my latest quilt top this morning and then stopped at Goodwill to buy some flannel sheeting for the inside. Much cheaper than those bundles of batting that they charge entirely too much for.

I also picked up a fairly nice sized bag of embroidery thread for $3. I thought that was a good price as even one skein cost over a dollar these days. Used to be a dime. Sigh.....
I saw a coffee grinder there for $3 so I picked it up just in case the one I bought at the Sequim store doesn't work right. I haven't used it yet but it looks well worn. Now I have to get up to QFC and see if they sell coffee beans in bag-you-own size. My goal is to order some Boyd's Coffee. Had it at a restaurant and knew I wanted to have it every morning.
Below is a photo of my son-in-law, Andy Krogermeier who ran up the Seattle Space Needle stairs
in 10 minutes and 18 seconds. Wow!
I see the ferry rates are going up again. They must be making a mint as hard as it is to even get on a ferry these days. Most times you need a reservation. Not that I use them these days. I am going on a short vacation of sorts next month, though. A friend is renting a camping spot at Fort Worden for two nights so I'm driving in to stay in her trailer. Should be fun. We'll tour around in my car, eat out, and paint rocks! ha ha
I belong to this group on Facebook called Historical Olympic Peninsula and decided to post a few photos I had. Am I repeating myself again? Probably. Well, too bad, It's all I got. Here's some that got a lot of comments....

My high school class lost another classmate this month. Virginia Anglin Tomlinson lived here in PA. Worked for the local newspaper before retiring. Here she is at our 50th reunion in 2011 when Sharon Sofie had to attend on crutches.
And last but not least....Jake's soccer team, the Shooting Stars.
He's second from the left.
Went to Safeway after my doctor appt and a stop at McDonalds for a fishwich. Needed to pick up some Vit C tablets but I was outraged at the price. I had a gift card from Mary but I refuse to pay that price! I'll see what Walmart wants. Used to be Vit C was cheap. I wonder what happened. I did buy some probiotics and they weren't all that cheap either.
Well, I just noticed that Alexa is stuck on playing Christmas music by the Ames Brothers. What's funny is that I was reading this out loud as I was typing and when I typed "Alexa is stuck" she stopped and told me "I'm sorry but I can't find Is Stuck in Port Angeles. When I asked her again, she told me she was sorry but she didn't know that one. My roommate is dumb. ha ha
