From there I headed to my cousin, Bill Arey's house to drop off some cookies and bread. No one home. I'm seeing a trend here. Up the hill I go to Lee & Elaine's. Finally. Somebody answered the door. Lee was just getting up so I didn't want to make him pose for a photo. I did get one of Elaine and her daughter, Michelle, though. They were busy cleaning house and preparing stuff for a Goodwill run.
Next stop was over to Sharon Sofie's place on Holcomb. For some reason I've always had a hard time finding her house but I did better today so we visited a few minutes and got a picture.
Then it was down the hill to Claridge Court to pick up my sister and her grandson so we could head out to Nordland to visit our brother, Les, and Kris & Bill Rust.
It wasn't until I got home that I realized I didn't get a good picture of Les' granddaughter, Cidney Skirvin. Just the back of her. Darn it. Next time. I did get one of her husband, Eddie and his son Braden.
Braden who goes to junior high in Chimacum
Eddie (with daughter Lily), Les and Kris
Kris & Bill Rust on couch; Courtney & Eric on right
Parker & Lily, great grandchildren of Les', Les, me, and Janie with her dog, Lucy
Courtney Kennedy and Eric Forcier, Janie's grandson
Kris & Bill's place is a fun spot to visit. They have lots of dogs, along with goats, a llama, a cockatiel, and chickens which roam at their leisure.
Kris had this neat ceramic dog knickknack situated on her brick fireplace so I tried to get a shot of that too. My picture doesn't do it justice, though.
After leaving Marrowstone Island, we drove to Papa Murphy's in PT to pick up pizzas for dinner later. Eric & Courtney took theirs to their apartment and I brought mine home. It's cooling as I sit here typing and I can hardly wait to dig in.
After dropping Eric, Courtney, and Janie off, I headed home but made a quick stop at my brother's place on Four Corners Road. He was baking a good looking apple pie.
I went outside to where Lill was busy in her workshop. She showed me her latest quilt.
Every time I go to PT, I'm fascinated with the new homes, streets, and how the scenery continues to change.
I was plenty weary driving home and didn't even think twice about stopping at the casino to play $20.
I unloaded the car, changed into pj's and downloaded my pictures so I could blog and hit the recliner for the rest of the night.
And that was my day!
