Insomnia?

It's 12:39 a.m., a little after midnight. I'll never understand what generates my body clock.  I barely slept last night. Partly anxious about the early morning procedure I was to go through the next day and partly because I hadn't felt well for the last two days and was pretty much just hanging out napping in my recliner for both days.

I was home by noon or so this afternoon. Or was it 1? I forget. Anyhow, my back was achy so I iced it but still got up and did things here and there. Never took a nap, though.  I ended up sitting down to read a book after I finished surfing youtube and I haven't felt like reading for ages. Just too tired.  At any rate, I finally headed to bed at 11:11 pm.  And that's another thing....I have been noticing the number 11 for weeks when I glance at clocks.  I'm going to look that up as it happens every now and again and I think there's a story behind it.

After an hour I realized I was not going to drop off to sleep so I got up, booted up the computer, turned on the light night tv shows (low), cooked a piece of toast, and heated water for cocoa.  Surfed FB a bit, played some solitaire and now I'm going to start this picture project I've been thinking about.

I have so few Christmas photos of my childhood.  We didn't take pictures much, probably because we didn't have a camera. I have some of when my kids were growing up but even those may be missing as I once made them each a photo album for Christmas and put in a whole bunch of photos of each of their childhoods.  I still may have a few, however, so I'm going to look around.

I also want to collect any Christmas photos I can find of my cousins. I know I have a few here and there as I was always begging for reprints.

My to-do list for tomorrow and Friday is filling up with lots of little jobs and fun things to do. Since I'm up now I think I'll start looking for the Xmas photos. Surely that will help me get sleepy. Thought for sure sitting down to read a book would do the trick. It usually does.  I've got three books going at once now. Tonight I worked on this "large print" one (which I like to read as it's easy on the eyes) called "House calls and hitching posts" about a doctor who tended to the Amish. True stories. Easy reading.

And that's it for now.
