Rainy Sunday but what else is new

Been sitting at this computer all morning. Shame on me. But then, I do get up to do stuff now and again.  I have no errands to run today and no housework to speak of so basically, I can do whatever I want.  I guess when I think about it, I can do whatever I want every day. Ha!

I just strung lights on the front porch handrail.  My fingers are cold but I had to do it between the downpour of rain we're having.  I can't hardly stand to watch those poor people across the street  who show up no matter what the weather to work on their homes.  Even with the annoying hammering, it has been an interesting watch these past months.

I plan on spending a little time at my sewing machine today and might work on a craft or two.  I was given a lot of wire for wrapping around objects and I'm excited to get back into that again.  I also pulled out my button collection (that I NEVER do anything with) and decided to make Christmas ornaments.  It was fun and all you need is buttons and pipe cleaners. My kind of craft.

Yesterday I strung two bungee cords across a section of my back fence that is coming apart and bound to fall over sooner or later.  The nails have come out because the ground has been so wet.  They'll suffice for now.

Gonna fix mini pizzas for dinner and tomorrow it's lunch at the casino with the girls.
Thursday I'll have Sue and Paul over for her birthday dinner and next Friday is December. I suppose I'll begin my Christmas gift wrapping that weekend. I'm pretty much done except for buying a few gift cards.  Not sure about sending out cards this year.  Postage just gets so expensive.  I'll think about it.

Better wrap this up now.  Stay dry.  Ohhhh... I just saw this on Facebook too.  Funny.
