Still cleaning out stuff

I am so happy my downsizing intentions have finally been realized.  It was a lot of work but then I knew it was going to be that way, which is why I put it off for years!  This morning I went out in the garage and while I had already set aside the Christmas decorations I couldn't bear to part with, I still had a large blue bin full and needed to break it down into boxes so I can donate and still keep my bin. I've got a lot of bins out there. At least a dozen. Big ones too.  I filled up two boxes and ended up setting aside a few more treasures that I wasn't ready to say goodbye to yet,  My garage is so tidy and neat. One corner is stacked with bins and empty boxes and the other wall is lined with 5 tables I'm trying to give away. Four are small but they're all handy dandy tables. I've got an ad running in the PA paper next Monday and Tuesday in the bargain box column 'cause my posts on the Clallam Free site just aren't getting them out of here.

Except for some furniture items I need my granddaughter to come retrieve, I think I'm down to basics. Some stuff will end up being stored at Jenni's but I think I can make the rest fit inside my little apartment.  Now if that phone call would just come. I've got to accept that I could be waiting for months and months yet. I know. I'm repeating myself but it's all I got right now.

I went on the Facebook group page of  Historic Olympic Peninsula last night and enjoyed looking at all the old photos. I always love looking at old pictures and doubt I'll ever tire of it. Here's one of the Humdinger that we used to go to when I was attending Peninsula Jr. College with Ruth.
I had heard that the owner was related to Art Linkletter.

Went to the doctor yesterday morning to see about this on again, off again nerve pain I have in my feet. He referred me to a podiatrist so that will be my next stop in about two weeks. Not that I expect he'll be able to do anything about it.

I made scalloped potatoes for supper last night. Haven't had those in ages. I added cheese and ham and intend to have it again tonight. Yep. I'm boring.

Since I got my PC up and running (thank you Brett Bies!) I've been entertaining myself with large screen solitaire games, crossword puzzles, bingo, mazes, jigsaws, and it's the way I spend more time all the time.  Granted I could be doing something more productive but at this stage in my life, I figure these online games are helping me hold off dementia. Ha!  I know if I live long enough, I'm probably gonna have dementia.

Well, I think I'll run across town to the Dollar Tree. Or not.  Some days it just seems silly to even attempt a blog post.
