PEP is my middle name today

I woke up at 4:30 this morning. I got up to pee and told my body "you are not staying up."  We went back to bed until 5:15 and I gave up and called it a night.  My energy level is usually the best in the morning so I started right in on "my to-do list".   Now, does the period go before the quotation mark or after? I should go look that up but not today.  I suspected my sleeping hours would be a mess for a few days what with the clock setting back thing and that "procedure" I endured yesterday which kept me up the night before. Have I said how happy I am that it's behind me. No pun intended. haha

It's been a gray day and that's fine with me. I'm keeping the tv on music. Just don't want to hear the election news until later tonight when we might have more answers. Or not. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a complete circus.  The long lines of voters we've watched all week couldn't possibly by people who want to keep the idiot in office.  I'll never understand how so many people were taken in and continue to be taken in.  I have found that the BBC news and PBS newscasts are way better to listen to.

I did manage to get a cross stitch picture framed that I did and I truly hate framing things as I never know how it's going to turn out. I found a frame at Goodwill for $5 and took a chance that I could make it fit the rather square design I had sewn.  Was so happy when I got it put together and it looked nice enough to use as a gift.

I also managed to get a few Christmas gifts wrapped and put away in the closet.  Little stuff but almost a dozen of them so I felt progress was good.  I've spent most of the day on this very pretty bird jigsaw. It's about half done and then I'll set up my rock painting.

A few days ago I had a notice from the FedX delivery guy that he had a pkg that needed to be signed for. Left me a ticket but the tracking number wouldn't work. I left the note on my mailbox telling him to leave with the office. So far they haven't seen it and it's one you have to sign for. I called the FedX office to have her check on where it went and she has no record that he even had a package for my address. Hmmmm.... Where'd it go and what was it?  I wonder if I'll ever find out.

My daughter, Mary, was able to help me with a setting in Gmail that was driving me absolutely bonkers.  A certain menu was on my inbox screen that wouldn't let me access trash or drafts without maneuvering more than was necessary.  So glad she understands where to find the settings you need to play with.

My arms are bruising up pretty good now from the IV needle stuck in my yesterday morning. She had a hard time finding a vein so I knew I was going to be colorful the next day.

I clicked on this cute ornament advertisement on Facebook yesterday and contemplated buying it but I couldn't get to how much the shipping was unless I gave them all my info first. Nope. Not going down that road just to find out a small lightwt pkg will run me $5 or more.  But, they got me when I clicked and now every other thing I scroll on has that ornament showing up in my face.

And my inbox keeps telling me to sign in on "Linked In" as somebody has been watching me. Ha!  I signed up for Linked in several years ago on a lark and never went back to it again. Figured it was more for working folks. But I'm in their system and they insist I need to find out who wants to connect.

One thing I'd like to get started on is cleaning up the photo files on my computer. I really like doing it but it is such a chore and I lose my place because I have too many files here and there. I'll try again tomorrow to get a handle on it.  My eyes are tired now so I think a recliner nap is due. I usually lose steam around 3; sometimes 6.  Is this boring enough for you?   I'll try harder tomorrow but only so much happens in a small one-bedroom apartment with an old lady working on her hobbies.

And here's stuff I found on FB that I liked....
