What Do You Fear Most?
Lorraine: I have a long list. Right now it’s that I can’t
turn the water off if I have a plumbing problem.
John: The wrath of God.
Marcella: Probably all the usual parent worries you have regarding
your children and grandchildren.
Arlie: Poisonous snakes
Joyce: Just about everything. Dying, truck breaking down,
illness, body aches, kids being sick, bugs, plumbing problems, fire deep water,
heights, car accidents. You think of it and I’ll worry about it.
Dale: Heights. I experience acrophobia
Janie: My grandchildren’s safety and welfare.
Jimmy: Running out of breath
Sue S: I fear heights, small spaces and snakes. A long time
ago we were building a deck off the upstairs bedroom. I climbed the ladder to
see the progress but I couldn’t go back down. Don had to undo some of what the
man did to get me back in the house.
Marlee: That Jeff
and I will end up in wheelchairs because of our MS
Cindy: I am very afraid of being along at dark.
Bill: I can give you a politically correct answer but the
truth is …me! I am not very good at
taking risks and going against the flow which means I miss out on many things
in life—trying to please people rather than just being myself.
Sue W: drowning
What would you consider a perfect day?
Lorraine: If someone called and wanted to take me some
place.
John: Peace in the whole world with no one fighting
Marcella: One where I could get out and walk.
Arlie: Sailing in 75˚weather, sun shining, 2’ seas, 15-20
knots of wind on a downwind run.
Joyce: No body aches, energy level high, money in my
pocket, and sitting on a stool in front of a slot machine in Reno.
Dale: Finding a large boulder of fine apple green float jade
(nephrite) on Crooks Mountain in Wyoming.
Janie: Watching old
movies with the rain coming down and sewing all day long.
Jimmy: 74˚with no wind. A cool one in hand, sunglasses, and
a good book.
Sue S: Spending the day with my family at Rockaway Beach in
Oregon.
Marlee: A summer morning out n the boat with Jeff fishing
and being able to lay around and read my trashy romance novels.
Bill: Any day that I can simply relax, enjoy life, and
accept things as they are.
Sue W: One spent on the river
Mary: Vacation time with Catie, sleeping in and waking up
with coffee, relaxing all day with no responsibilities.
