Kinda Warm out there today!

 It's a little after 4 pm and it's starting to get warm in here. I sure am thankful I'm on the side of the building that doesn't get the afternoon sun. I've got three fans going and unless we get high 90s I'm okay with it.  I went downstairs to browse in the library. I've always loved libraries, even small ones. I ended up bringing back two or three books that I had donated but then decided I wanted them on my bookshelf afterall. I also picked up a really fat book about the Kennedy women and another large volume about the best science fictions stories. I don't usually read sci fi but maybe it's time I started. After these books were back in my apartment, I felt compelled to clean up my bookcase. I put all the books I'd written and all the books my brother has written on the top shelf.  Also decided to rearrange various knickknacks. It's my OCD.

I finished one small wall quilt this morning. It's cute enough but I probably should have used much thinner batting as it's too puffy and puckering.  Now I have to find somebody to dump it on. haha

Talked to my daughter, Mary, on her drive home from Seattle back to Vancouver. They had a good time in Las Vegas an later this week, she's going to Seaside with Andy, Jake, and Poppy. I have absolutely nothing on my agenda but I'm okay with that. I had planned to go down to the Rakers show and/or the Legion yesterday but my busitiis (I guess it's bursitis?)  had me so miserable, there was no way I could venture out. I'm much better today. Not 100% but at least I can walk around the apartment and get a few things done. I'll take what I can get.

I could set up a jigsaw puzzle and I may do that before the week is over but I really need to concentrate on getting the quilt tops put together that I've sewn.  I'm also thinking genealogy might be a fun thing to get into again. I've learned so many tips on youtube about places to search but I'll have to go back and study again.

Well, all a sudden it got too warm in here to be sitting at this laptop. Think I'll put on my shorts and see what I can find to entertain me on tv. Now that I think about it, I have two summer dresses packed away somewhere. I should go looking for them. I'll have to shut my door, though. It's not the prettiest sight when I take off the bra and let the girls all hang out. Ha Ha
