Just a short note to attach cute pictures Mary posted on Facebook. They took Jake to see Santa in North Bend on the Santa train. She said his favorite part was the snowball fight he got to have with the "big boys."

 Managed to get my wrapping completed so I'm happy about that.  Also went through my CDs to sort and find what I've got that I haven't played in a long time. Was delighted to find a lot of good stuff too.  Now I just have to get my cassettes onto CDs.  That's my goal for 2017. I've probably got 200 cassettes that I refuse to give up.

Been a tired kind of day.  Dark and gloomy out.  My energy level has been below par and my body struggles to get up out of a chair.  ahhhhh...the wonders of aging.  The yard is still covered with snow but I've got my fingers crossed that the rains come in and wash it away.

Guess I'll head out to the living room and see what I can find on tv.  My knee is shooting some terrific pains on through today. Wonder what that's about. Time to find some ibuprofen.
