Am tired of the snow and icy roads. Would like to venture out and about but even walking to the mailbox gives me pause to worry. Last thing I need is to fall down. I do put cleats on my tennis shoes when I walk across the driveway to the mailbox and I use a walking stick. I'm aware of my limitations.
Sammy seems to have some kind of dog laryngitis right now. His barks are squeaky and/or hoarse. Funny to listen to him and since he barks a lot, I'm enjoying the quieter tones.
Looked over the shows available to me on HBO (I signed up for one month) and while I can find a few things of interest, I'm thinking I can get by just fine and dandy with Netflix and Amazon only. Right now I'm watching past episodes of 'Curb your enthusiam', 'Girls', and 'Divorce.' Girls has entirely too much sex but I'm hanging in there anyhow as I want to see what happens to the characters. Divorce previews looked good but I'm finding it too sappy for words. I probably won't even finish the season.
One show that I watch on Discovery (when it's not on the History channel, that is) is 'Alaska, the last frontier'. I've probably already mentioned this but I'm looking around for something to talk about today. Seems like I had something...but it's gone. Guess I'll post this neat picture I saw on Facebook.
Just read the Leader and it had little of interest (again!) Did like the 'Looking Back' picture, however.
Yesterday was my dad's birthday. He would have been 93. And today would have been my 53rd wedding anniversary. This year will mark 35 years that I've lived alone. I guess I kinda like it. ha ha
And with that, I guess I'll sign off and get back to work on my book. I've got 56,000 words so far but lots and lots of editing left and need to think of some more subject matter.
