Sunny Thursday

I've been under the weather the last few days. Never did figure out exactly what my problem was. Some kind of bug?  Was very tired and cold.  Had a slight headache that came and went and my overall body just plain ached.  Constipated too and that always makes for a nice day. Ha!  Whatever was going on seems to have run its course.

A couple days back, I went walking on the Discovery Trail (about a mile and half down the road) and did real well with two walking sticks. Listened to Pandora music on my phone and enjoyed myself.  Today, I decided to go out again but for whatever reason, my body just plain wasn't in the mood. I didn't go that far but every step back to my car was pure misery.  Not the hips (which is my usual complaint) but my feet.  Couldn't understand why.  At any rate, I proceeded to get some chores done around the house.

Set up my sewing machine again and moved the laptop from the kitchen back into this room, fixed up my cutting table, moved a table, etc. etc.  Little stuff.  I worked slowly and found myself getting slower and slower.  Used to be a time I could zip through all kinds of household chores and rearrange, etc. with no problem at all.  I half wonder if maybe I'm still suffering from a bug.  My feet are especially cranky and I never have issues with them like this.  I did manage to get fresh sheets on the bed and one load of laundry done so I guess I'll have to be satisfied with that.  Tomorrow I'll start fresh on the new sewing project I want to try.  Another quilting banner.  The directions look complicated (as usual) but I'll go slow and hopefully, one little step at a time will get me through it.

Jenni is going to Joyce to watch Maddie's track meet and then they're driving to Mary's so Maddie can tour UPS tomorrow.  Nothing much on my agenda which suits me fine.  I went to the library yesterday and brought home a couple books to look over.  Kind of expect my books to arrive via FedX on Monday. Really anxious to see how they look.  I've already received a few checks in so I'll be mailing them out Monday or Tuesday for sure.  Have to get into Port Townsend in April to deliver more and see about putting some in a book store down on Water Street.

I printed up some small postcards to hand out at the alumni social hour. Think I'll carry them in my purse and distribute whenever I'm out and about somewhere.  Catie designed them for me and I took them down to the office supply store to get printed.  Jenni has a  paper cutter with her scrapbooking supplies so they're all ready to give out.
Let me know if you want one.

One picture I saw in the Leader yesterday really caught my eye.  That's about all I have for posting today.
