Apparently there was a problem with uploading pictures on the blog website yesterday. I had to go to the help column, though, before it dawned on me. It's 8:25 a.m. and while I woke up yesterday around the same time (and felt rested and ready to meet the day), this morning I am tired and feel like an old beat up sock. I probably should have stayed in bed longer but I figured I'd wake up once I was up and moving. Didn't seem to be the case, however. My eyes are kind of blurry and I suspect it's allergies -or the weather. I see blue skies out there but it feels like it could rain if it wanted to.
I went to bed really tired but nothing out of the ordinary with that Slept hard, though, and dreamed my fool head off. Fixed up the leftover blueberry waffle mix in the fridge and that was a tasty delight. I've got a big variety of fruit on hand this week so I have a nice choice to choose from. In the bowl next to my laptop is grapes, cherries, and blueberries. Yum!
I think I'll go squirt some eye drops in my sockets to see if that helps. Probably gonna need a nap before the day is over too. I really need to work harder at not forcing myself out of bed if my body is telling me she wants to stay put longer. I am retired, after all, and have earned the privilege of calling my own wake up hours.
Tomorrow morning I'll HAVE to get up early. I'm picking up Joyce Lee at 8:30, heading to McDonalds for a breakfast sandwich to eat on the way to PT. Will pick up Mary Gaboury and then head to the fair for our 10 to noon shift at the alumni booth. Actually looking forward to the entire day.
Well, it looks like I'm going to have to cut this short. I just put artificial tears in my eyes and now they're really burning and uncomfortable. Never had that problem with it before. I assume that means I really needed it.
I've got an old James Stewart moving running on Hulu (Mr. Smith goes to Washington) so I plan on hitting the recliner until I can see again. I've been typing this last paragraph with my eyes closed and heaven only knows what keys I hit. I wonder if photos can be posted yet. Here's a picture of Hunter's car (if it's working).
