Remembering David Through Pictures

It's a sad day for me.  One of my friends  died today of a heart attack.
Dave Marriott was something else. He made me laugh. He was very popular all his life.  And he was smart too! My picture collection has many of him as we went through grade school and high school together and he always came to each and every reunion.    I used to kid him that he was always showing up in my dreams and I never understood why because I didn't actually have a crush on him --ever.  I also told him once that had I known he was going to be so successful in life, I would have chased him in high school. Anybody who went to school with us can appreciate the humor in that.

My graduating class had about 67 in it. Dave was the 22nd to go although there are 16 other deaths on our classmate list that didn't actually graduate but were in our class at one time or another so we always include them.  The last time Dave and I talked in emails, he was grieving the death of one of his best friends, Jim Logue.

Dave knew a lot of people, and he had some pretty interesting jobs over the years too.
I followed the Amanda Knox story a few years back as I knew Dave was involved in getting her home. We're gonna' miss him.
