Pretty much just dingin' around the house today. Sammy is staying the night. He's bored.
Probably suffering from allergies too. When I went into my bathroom, I noticed he'd helped himself to the dirty laundry again. Likes to rub his nose in it. Such a perv!
Took a few photos around the yard. Noticed my first plum of the season has arrived.
Front yard has pretty flowers and I took a shot of the flags blowing at my house and the neighbors.
Met one of the guys moving in across the street. Interesting dude. Knows Tim Goodrich from PT. Learned all kinds of news standing our front with neighbor Heather.
She said some church owns the corner lot on our side of the street. She's also offered to help me clean up the curb area out front. It's full of dandelions and looks dreadful. Said she was willing to do most of the work; all I had to do was pay for materials and keep her company. Course I'll help as much as I can with the labor too. Will be nice to get that area looking decent again.
Am playing with the idea of making a couple stick pictures today. Retrieved my box of twigs and have a supply of frames set out too. Boiled up eggs and potatoes for salad and will celebrate the 4th with a couple of brauts and some beans. I wonder if I have any beer in the fridge. I don't drink beer that often but every now and again, I want one. Maybe Wayne or Sue left one on the door. If not, I'll settle for lemonade.
Got an appt tomorrow morning with a dermatologist. Went to this guy a couple years back (not too far from my neighborhood) and I liked him fine. Want to get a "spot" checked on my shin. Probably just another psoriasis outbreak but with skin cancer, you always need to pay attention.
Have a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle set up on the table. Small pieces as the finished picture is only 18x11. NY city scene. Moved my finch food seed sock to another area of the backyard -- hoping they'll discover it. Saw two yellow finches this morning and am hoping they'll be back.
Well, I'm pretty much going from boring to more boring so I guess I'll wrap this up and go make that potato salad. Haven't heard any fireworks yet so I'm hoping the night will be calm.
