I ran over to Joanne's Fabrics and picked up a couple yards of batting. That stuff is way too expensive. I've been using flannel sheets instead a lot of the time and while it doesn't make the blanket as fluffy, it pleases me that it's cheaper. I stopped at Goodwill and picked up two blankets and they're in the washer now. I've got about 9 small quilts finished (trying to figure out what to do with them) and have seven more small tops completed that I will work on the next week or two giving me even more quilts to gift. I wish it didn't cost so damn much to use the postal service; otherwise, I'd just mail them off. Maybe I should ask people if they'd like one and would be willing to pay the postage. That might work.
Hunter left early this morning for college in Avondale, AZ. Should be home for Xmas and then the whole course is done in ten months. Diesel repair. He loves anything to do with trucks and cars. Maddie leaves tomorrow for some track camp and a while after that she leaves for Central in Ellensburg. I made them come over yesterday so I could get a photo.
The neighbor lady worked on fixing up my curb with new bark a while back. I was a little embarrassed but I was thrilled with her idea. ha ha
Wayne (who wins CONSISTENTLY) at the casino. Hit it again a couple days ago. $2400 and then he kept playing and hit 75 free games and won another $300. I play his machine all the time and get nothing. I almost won $350,000 on Hit 5 a couple weeks back but that was a fluke. Won't happen again.Yeah, I know. Think positive. I am positive.
My activities have been pretty much the same ole routine - sewing, reading, tv, and cross stitch at night. Am making designs for small canning jars and will put candy and coins in them for Christmas gifts this year. Time to cut back. Should have done it years ago.
Saw a picture on Facebook that I was happy to get. I made a 5x7 reprint of it. Shows my mother at age 10 or 11 -- the only one I have of her as a girl. I look like her, I think. This 1936 Chimacum school picture shows her standing (in white shirt) behind Lois Black who is standing in front with her leg bent.

Well, I can't think of much else outside of the various movies I've watched on Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix and I'm too tired to write about them now. Here's a cute picture I saw on FB that I liked. I keep a lot of the Trump jokes.
Gotta go grind up some zucchini now and put it in the freezer for making patties later. Baked six loaves of bread yesterday. Boring I know but this is my life.
