Duh....

I think I'm losing it.  I went over to Jen's house yesterday to drop off a birthday gift for Wayne. He turned 50 today.  On the way home, I got to thinking (never a good thing)....gee...Wayne is only 15 years younger than me. How can that be? I was sure 75 take away 50 was 15.  Duh.....

It's been a bit of a down-in-the-dumps kind of day.  Not bad; just BORING!  Typical January fare. Gray wet weather and I slept poorly last night.  What else is new?  I went to Walmart early, gassed up the car on the way home, and got out my next photo box to start seeing if there was anything I wanted to get scanned in.  I'm sure my fatigue contributed to the fact that I came to the conclusion "I'm not in the mood to copy all these photos!"  Why bother?  I already have a ton of stuff on my hard drive anyhow. I suspect I was just looking for busy work.  I need to find something else to occupy my time. I'm rethinking scanning the old yearbooks I have too. Way too much and I already scanned in several decades of senior photos. That's good enough.

I took a two hour nap this afternoon.  Damn circulation is so sluggish I had the electric blanket on high and another small quilt on top of that. Plus I'm wearing sweats!  I know a quick walk outside a few times a day would help all that but I DON'T WANT TO!  It's too wet and damp.  Sure am weary of the days getting dark so quickly. I guess I'd better deal with it, though, as there's not a thing I can do about the seasons.

I've got to think of something to occupy myself tomorrow.  There's always reading, of course, but that invariably puts me to sleep. Still.....I may give it another try. I do have books around here that I want to read. Oh woe is me.  ha ha

I think I need to have a writing project in the works.  That always keeps the juices running.  And there's always my photographs that need sorting in some form or another.  One of the reasons I lost interest in scanning is that too many pictures are in several places. If I had a special one I liked with each of the kids in it, I would put a copy in each of their folders.  Virgos are always wanting to organize.  I need to knock that off!

Maybe I'll look around online and see what new movie is available to stream.  There are a few I want to see since the Golden Globes were on.  I need to make an effort to get out and visit more. Maybe I'll work on that this week.  Okay, I guess I've whined enough for one blog post. Tomorrow will be better.
