Putting things in order

I spent about an hour and half this morning getting to a job I've been meaning to get to for weeks. I needed to sort through my HUGE material supply and try and put them in some sort of order so I can find what I want.  I did manage to empty out several bins I had thrown everything in months ago when I was clearing out rooms for the floors to be done.  I really have too much material.  Did I say that?  Well, even though it's true, I'm still happy with my little stash.  Barbara Shaw and Joanne Gilles gave me a ton of stuff when they were getting ready to move and I came across several items I forgot was in their gift to me. Here's some shots I took of my rearranged nooks and crannys.
the corner of the kitchen reserved for eating, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, rock painting, and such
This used to be the guest room but was more storage than anything as I seldom have overnight guests. I moved the bed to the sewing room and put all my books and knickknacks in here along with storage bins for material.
This is the sewing room now and it also has my radio, CD player, tv, and VCR
Everything looks neat right now but it'll get messy once I decide on a new project.
I can sit at the sewing machine to watch tv and keep an eye on the neighbors through the window
One of the stacking shelves in the sewing room closet with material kind of sorted by color
The other stacking shelf holds various sewing supplies
These bins in the corner of the library  hold material waiting for me to use.
My latest 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle completed a few nights ago.

I overdid it yesterday by running half a dozen errands instead of limiting myself to just a couple or three. Will I never learn? I came home exhausted and literally could barely make it up the steps in the garage for the three trips I had to make with stuff I'd bought.  I changed clothes and headed for the recliner to get my steam rolling again. Fell asleep for an hour. Out like a light.  I do believe my body is telling me something.

I went to Walmart and the Dollar Tree as they're both next to each other and clear across town.  I also stopped at Swains but that was a  waste of energy as I couldn't find a thing (and stuff was too high). I also hit Safeway, Jack in the Box, and ended up with my annual mammogram.  Nothing else on my agenda until next Monday when I have another doctor appt.  I should make an appt. to get my hair cut, though. I pretty much always have to wear my wig since my hair continues to thin and irritate the hell out of me!  It's hard to keep what hair I have under the wig;  I guess it doesn't quite fit as well as I'd like it to. Not that anyone is looking at me anyhow. I don't know why I even bother.  Ha!

Guess I'll go make that call now and get it over with.
