Saturday at the home --not really--

It's about 12:30 in the afternoon. Window has been open all day and I'm enjoying the nice weather.  I got up at 4:30 as my hip was hurting but I knew there was no way I was staying up so I grabbed a comforter and made my way to the recliner. Fell back asleep, thank goodness, but my hip was still acting  up at 6:30  so I got up and started moving around.  I knew I wanted to wash a load of laundry so I stripped the bed, made coffee, got dressed, and toasted half an English muffin.  You can't run the washer until 8 so I got online to work the puzzle and surf around a bit.

Breakfast arrived (waffle, chicken nuggets?, and peaches.)  I put the peaches in the fridge for later along with the nuggets.  I had them for lunch with my green salad from last night's dinner.  Now I'm looking around for something sweet. Not much onhand so I'll settle for a graham cracker. Manager came around with a sack of food for those residents who have the meal plan. I got three bananas, two oranges, and some yogurt. She was going to give me a large can of V-8 and a half gallon of milk but I told her I hadn't really opened last weeks yet so she took them back.

Last night's viewing was a documentary on Amazon called "The Coming Pandemic."  There are a few shows out there with similar names but this one was from 2005 and VERY GOOD!  And darn scary what they were predicting 15 years ago.

I've got golf on right now but only for a while because HBO and Showtime (and maybe Encore?) are all giving free  programming this weekend. Maybe longer. Course I can't always find something I really want to see but I will take a look.

I've been doing various crafts so far today.  Rocking painting on one table, jigsaw on another, and some sewing items in the bedroom.  I plan to read later too and that will probably put me down for a nap.  Such an exciting life.  But oh well, I'm still upright. I guess that's something.

Dinner was pretty tasty last night.  Carrot salad (which I've always liked but never made), and tuna casserole. I know that doesn't sound all that great but it was. Had potato chip topping and much better than my casseroles ever were. And chocolate cream pie for dessert. I wolfed that down.

Mary Gaboury called earlier and said her sister and brother both got their stimulus checks but her and Dave are still waiting.  They plan on staying in Yuma until the end of May. I happened to have The Simpsons on yesterday and found myself cackling out loud quite often. I'm going to have to go looking for past episodes.

Things I'm sick of hearing --- Be Safe, Obey Social distancing, and We're all in this together.

Two photos I saw online and posted on Facebook:

You can see my aunt and uncle's house on the left side of this picture.

And that is about all I have for today.
