Today I googled "why does my body itch"? No help. The usual reasons with age topping the list.
Stay hydrated, cream up, take cool showers not hot. Reasons varied from food allergy, soap allergy, diabetes, cancer, nerve diseases, internal diseases, psychiatric problems (yeah, that's probably it!), iron deficiency, liver or thyroid problems, pancreatic issues, medications. Something is going on but there's no rash to be seen. Just general overall itchiness. Had it all day yesterday, all last night in bed, and all day today. Not horrible where I'm pulling out my hair but noticable and uncomfortable. I'm sick of it!
My activities today consisted of an hour at the sewing machine sewing crumb pieces together and another hour trimming them up so I can sew more pieces together tomorrow.
This picture doesn't look like much but it was a lot of work. I'm limiting myself to an hour or so and then moving on to another hobby. Today was the jigsaw puzzle which is maybe 1/3 done.
I checked the mail at 3 and 5. Both times the sign was up saying NO MAIL. This is the second time this has happened and you can't tell me that a building with 49 separate apartments had no mail for anyone! What's going on here? One day the mailman or lady left all the mail in the lobby and the manager had to deliver it. Something seems kind of screwy.
Jenni showed a listing for their old house in P.A. Man, does it look different inside. Look up MLS#340946 if you want to see it. Here's before and after from the outside.
I've been working on Disney designs doing counted cross stitch in the evenings while watching tv.
Here's Donald (which I probably already shared) and Goofy in progress.
And here's a Facebook post I liked.
Got an activity calendar on my door today as they're finally starting up some things for the seniors to do. Crafting, work outs, barbeque this Saturday, and something the historical society is doing asking us to document our pandemic experience.
Got a text from Mary showing Jake with his first bike accident. She was filming it and there's nothing quite so scary as watching your kid eat the pavement. He was back outside on the bike in ten minutes, though. There's just something about the initial freedom when you first learn to ride a two-wheeler.
He's such a stud!
And my video for today is this.....
