A day at the office usually means I'm on the computer instead of doing something really useful and productive. On the other hand, I am getting a few odds and ends accomplished so I guess it's all in how you look at it. I ran to the post office early (even climbed those damn steps using my walking stick). Stopped at Safeway to buy a few groceries and my lotto ticket and then stopped by my sister's to take a picture of her carpet cleaner so I can post it on FB for her. Stopped by Sharon Sofie's to drop off a book and finally dragged myself home to put everything away and do my to-do lists inside the apartment.
Amazon pkg arrived with the ironing mat I ordered. It's going to be such a space saver for me. Jenni brought me a tv tray yesterday and the mat fits it perfectly and is right next to the sewing machine. Just what I wanted.
We picked a few blackberries out by the fairgrounds and behind Janie's apartment so I have a couple of quarts in the freezer now. I may go look for more later. We'll see... I added fresh sugar water to the hummingbird feeder and fresh water to my cut flowers from my daughter, Sue. Since I had finished another Jodi Picoult book last night, I decided I'd write her a fan letter. Going to start another by her today. Plain Truth was absolutely fabulous! I hope to eventually read all her stuff and I signed up for her newsletters. Here's one I took yesterday of three of my neighbors who were sitting outside in the sun when I returned from berry picking. I sent off for reprints to give them later. Casey, Pat, and Earl. And here's five from Mary who is busy, busy settling in at their new house in Vancouver. A few days ago they went over to visit Phaedra Baldwin and her family who live down there. Phaedra graduated with Jenni and they lived together during college days.Andy and Mary are still exploring so here's some on a recent park they found.
