I thought I would get a lot more accomplished than what I did but when I stop and think about it, everything I did get done was significant. First of all, I had Golf on all day long.
The most tiring activity (even though I was seated) was sewing, pressing, cutting, snipping, 48 6x6" hourglass squares. Saw a system on Youtube and wanted to try it out. I have to make probably two dozen more to make the size quilt I want.
Once I finished pressing using my new little wool pad on the tv tray, I figured out that you can't use steam when using the pad because your surface underneath burns! So then I wrote a review on Amazon and posted my pictures about it. I'll still keep it, however, as it's handy not having to set up my ironing board every time I want to sew.
My sister had given me a zucchini yesterday so I ground it up for the freezer.
I also decided I might as well wind some bobbins since I had none that were threaded.
I ate the last of the enchilladas I made a few days ago and worked on a pkgs of Oreos while I was at it. I didn't really eat the whole package, though. I gave a baggie of some to the neighbor guy. Told him it was so I could say I didn't eat them all myself. He was fine with that. haha
It's 4 o'clock now and I've got a single little pork rib baking in the oven. Think I'll cut it up and have some pasta with it. Nothing much else on my agenda although I am anxious to sit and get back into my book by Jodi Picoult.
And here's an old picture from my files..... trucks loading at Crown Zellerbach
