l rearranged today. Yes. Again!

I decided I wasn't happy with the way my computer area was set up and since I spend a lot of time on my laptop, I knew that particular corner had to be exactly how I wanted it.

I had that corner desk in my bedroom holding my sewing machine but it is a computer table, after all, and I figured out the best place for it.  I also rehung a couple of wall pictures. My brother, Dana, stopped in to help me hang a quilt in my bedroom and to retack my latest quilt on the wall over my computer.

I took a neighbor across town at 7 a.m. and decided while I was out that early, I might as well look around for some pictures to shoot. I knew I'd find some.

The house where my friend was going to spend a few days was up on Morgan Hill not too terribly far from where my dad's house sat on Cosgrove. His house is gone now. Moved across town to the Hastings Avenue area so a big three story place could be built in its place. Anyhow, she pointed out this small green house in that neighborhood that sold for $1.4 million. Good lord! Probably because of the land it sits on.
Real close to where my dad lived was the Boy Scout cabin. Here's a shot from 1931 and the two pics below it show what sits on that land now.

I drove around the back of Chetzemoka Park -- my favorite childhood playground. And a favorite with my kids too. The back entrance is especially pretty.

This old house at the back gate across the street from the Golden Agers Club looks like it's going to be another beauty one day.

My dad's old place is near Sather Park and I took two pictures of the signs. Another field across from it looked like it might be a park too but I didn't walk in there to see. I did notice this car parked near the sign and upon closer inspection, I saw that it was packed full of somebody's worldly goods. Another homeless person. Sad. I don't recall ever seeing such a thing when I was a kid.

I drove slowly around Monroe Street and noticed a lot of deer --everywhere!

Thought it was strange to see a tsunami sign so high up on the hill but I guess if one comes, no one is safe even on Morgan Hill.  P.S.  Ha Ha...well, my brother just told me that this is a neighborhood watch sign -- not a tsunami. That's how rumors get started. Dumb me!
I wouldn't mind having that empty lot I noticed next to that big mansion of a house. Maybe when I win the lotto.

I took three pictures downtown. One of Water Street, one of two ferryboats docked, and one of the bluff above Bayview that looks like big shrubs and bushes are growing.

Back on my side of town, I returned three audio books to the library book return on the curb near QFC and drove the back way home. Saw a whole lot of mobile homes in Seaview Mobile Home Park that used to be seen from the main highway but is now behind Castle Hill Mall.  Lots of mobile homes there. More than I thought.

My last shot was on impulse. It's the house where my ex husband lives.  I still think it's ironic that we live two blocks from each other. That must mean something. ha ha
