10 a.m. and I've been up for three hours. Did all my chores including a fast trip to Safeway so the rest of the day is mine to goof off. I'll be doing some more sewing and a little computer work. Sewing includes making about ten more Xmas runners. I made one yesterday and have figured out exactly how I want to make the rest as it went fast and easy. Also have a few cross stitch Xmas ornaments to finish working on. I stuffed them yesterday and sewed them up so now I have to figure out how to attach the ribbons for hanging. The first batch I sewed the ribbons inside the seam but I was in too much of a hurry yesterday to finish them up so I'll have to figure out some other kind of system for these last few. They'll probably end up looking stupid but nothing new there.
Yesterday I just messed around with various strips of material making these quilt squares I saw on Youtube. I always have to go back and rewatch the videos as I forget what I've seen. Not sure why it won't sink in to my brain but it is what it is. they ended up looking absolutely dreadful anyhow so I don't know what I'm going to do with them. Maybe dust furniture.
If I had taken my time to use better colors, I might have been able to set them up so they looked nice but oh well, it was just goofing off practice anyhow.

I accidentally clicked on 'The View' just now. Still nauseating. In fact, it seems to have gotten worse. I never watch daytime tv anymore and used to be, I'd watch it all -- and enjoy it! I usually turn the golf channel on but after a while (unless there's a tournament on) I end up switching to Pandora music channel. I do enjoy the Elton John commercial on the golf channel, though. Makes me laugh every time. (You don't look broke) hahahhaha
You tube continues to get my night time attention. Still watching lots of dog videos. Also enjoy some of the sports, genealogy tips, sewing tips, cooking tips, and just plain surfing around to see what I can find.

Just looked up and my squirrel is back in the tree chewing on the autumn leaves. I wonder what it is that interests him so much. He generally only appears in the fall. Although I'm pretty sure this is a different one than the guy I took a picture of a few days ago. He (or she?) was much fatter.
I'm watching two things on Hulu. Jann and The Undoing (with Nicole Kidman) I made a batch of snickerdoodles yesterday and shared with four neighbors. Had to make up for the horrible lemon cake frosting I gifted them the day before. Boy, was it awful!
Well, there are days when I have absolutely nothing to blog about and this apparently is one of those. My sciatica (at least for now) seems to have eased up and I was able to go grocery shopping without pain. I never take those periods of walking normal for granted.
