It's Friday Morning

My sleeping pattern is still acting goofy but I'll just go with it as I know it will change again. I was up until 11 last night and still couldn't drop off 'til after midnight. Got up at 7 this morning and now I'm going to get my computer chores done so I can get back to the sewing machine. No errands today and I'm always happy about that.

I went to the hospital yesterday morning but after sitting for 40 minutes (just for lab) and being told I was still 4th in line and it could be another half hour, I opted to leave and come back in the late afternoon.  Good choice as I was in and out in 10 minutes then. Got the blood test results back this morning but of course, I don't really understand them all. I did get, however, that I had 3 low readings of certain tests and FIVE high ones! I'll discuss that at my virtual doctor appt on the 21s. Also had to pick up this gallon jug and do three stool samples over three days after I've eaten fats for three days. Groan.  You have to keep it in the fridge. Oh, this is going to be so much fun.

I went to Safeway to pick up all the ingredients I was short on for putting together my cookie/bread/fudge packages and I'll start working on them next week. That should be fun and I can take my time.  I had a supply of painted rocks to set out so I went to Kai Tai Park and placed about 4 of them and then over to this apt. house parking lot and disposed of the rest. I'll go out and about next week to do more and to deliver to certain folks.  Might put some in the baked goodie pkgs, as well.

I made up three beach glass pictures with the small amount of beach glass I had left and some pretty rocks I had onhand. They're okay but not nearly as good as the one I was given and was trying to copy.  I should have tried to have a sky background to perk it up but they're done now and I just have to hope the hot glue holds.

I knew I was overdue for an oil change in my car so I called around to see what it would cost. The three PT outfits were around $70 and up so I'll go back to Wilder in P.A. where I bought the car and have had it serviced before. They only charge $55 but I'm sure it will be higher once I get the bill. Whatever. At least I can visit with Jenni while I'm waiting.

I went through my photos to look for Christmas pictures but came up short on "old pictures" of my childhood.  We just didn't take any. I guess because we didn't have a camera. I know there were some of when my folks were married but my mother took all those and then I hear they burned in a house fire. I thought I had more of my cousin's Christmas pictures but I didn't. Found some of when I was raising my kids and more of my kids as adults so that will have to do. I also collected all the snow pictures I had onhand and will add them to that blog post too so everything will be in one place.  I'll work on that today as it's a fun thing to do and I'll probably post this afternoon.

YouTube continues to be my favorite thing to watch. I've come across interviews with folks living in the hollars of Appalachia and they're really fascinating. I also watch Darlene Michaud, shag dancers, dog videos, cooking shows, and anything else that catches my eye.

Not sure why my shoulders are hurting so much this week. Probably because I think my sciatica is finally easing up and it's time to attack another body part. I have been lifting heavy stuff over my head to put in top shelves and I imagine the shoulders aren't thrilled with that. I put Vicks on both of them last night when I went to bed but I may have to find some muscle cream that works better.  I'm thankful my back injections went so well and I only had a few hours of discomfort. The clinic even called me the next morning to see how I was doing.

Well, time to get up and get moving. I'll post the pictures I put on FB already for those of you who don't visit FB.

the picture in front was the "gift" I was copying. Hers was so much better.
Neighobr gave me an elf so I set him by my computer this morning
My little shelf outside the door has lights now 'cause a neighbor gave me this battery gadget
Suction cups let me hang my cute handmade ornaments on the window
A stuffed squash gifted me and that will be dinner tonight. Oh boy!
My grandpa's 144th BD was the 9th so I posted one of my favorite photos of him down by the barn.

And that's it until later this afternoon.
