Monday afternoon

I sure am tired of my feet hurting all the time. I've tried several different "home remedies" to try and fix them but so far nothing much has worked. I just ordered a pair of orthopedic shoes online but only because they said I could try them for 45 days and then return if I didn't like them. I have to be so careful ordering online as the slightest little thing you hit wrong can come back to bite you. I placed my order and then realized my paypal was being charged for two pair! One $46 (which I wanted) and one for $60 that I didn't want. I proceeded to send them emails to correct it so now I have to wait and see if they follow through.

It's 4:15 in the afternoon and Mary and Andy will be leaving soon for an evening at some fancy golf club that Shari Glessing reserved dinner for. Or something like that.  Jake is going too so it's not exactly just golf. Yesterday they went to this beach. Here are some pics that Mary sent me....

Day after tomorrow we go to the fair. Weatherman is predicting hot weather but not until Thursday on. yay!

Today Holly Blankenship came by to visit. She is such a hoot! She's going to come pick me up and take me to this place where I can get river rocks to paint. She may head to the senior center with me sometime too to check that place out.

I managed to go through my picture collection and got rid of several. Have a sack to give Jenni and CAtie and gave Mary a large sack too. Also threw a ton in the trash. I still have an awful lot and I've got to think of some way to use them.

I'm reading this mystery called 'The last thing he told me'. It's pretty good but I still manage to nod off after an hour. So annoying but lately it seems my favorite activity is napping.

Since Mary won't be here for dinner tonight I'm going to make my own. Have two drumsticks set out to cook in the air fryer. When they go to NY this Saturday I'll be in charge of taking care of Poppy, picking up the mail, setting out the trash bins, and watering all the flowers and plants. 

I sure am sick of seeing Trump on all the news shows lately. Pence kind of makes me sick too. So do most of the politicians now that I think about it.

I've been Facebook messaging with this one lady who wants to get acquainted. I invited her here but Mary said I needed to meet her in a public place first, especially since she was coming when Mary wouldn't be here. Of course she's right. As Mary explained, she could be a He who might kill me. Oh my!  I kind of doubt that, though. I've seen her picture and we've discussed crocheting together. haha We're meeting for coffee on the 18th at Burgerville which is close to our house.

Well, I can't think about much else so I guess I'll sign off here.
