After Supper

Finished supper (had a breakfast dinner- one of my favorites) and even washed up the dishes afterwards.  It is nice to get up in the morning to a clean kitchen.  And I do wash up most of the time; just let it go if I have leftovers or little prep work took place.  Seems silly to wash dishes when there aren't that many.

I came in here to play a game of solitaire online. Sadly, it's become one of my addictions lately.  But oh well, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.  I went down to the office supply store and had my cookbook printed and then came home to put the pages in the folders and prepare the envelopes for mailing.  I thought I was keeping real close track of who wanted a book, who I was gifting them to for Christmas, and who I was delivering to in person when I go to PT.  After I sat down to get the project going, I realized I miscounted and was 3 books short.  Darn it!  Now I have to go back tomorrow and see if I can round up some more book report folders too.  Ironically, I had gone to the Dollar Tree this morning and returned several folders thinking I had over bought.

I've been stashing away Christmas gifts like crazy.  Many I've made but it sure is fun to go online and browse too.  I've got to be careful as I just click away. Fun, though.
And I'm pretty much all done. Close to it anyhow.

Been having a hard time keeping warm lately. I'm sitting here right now and thinking I need to turn the heat on.  I know darn well it's not that cold in here but I suspect it's an old ladies circulation slowing down because I'm cold all the time.  Haven't heard back on my ultrasound yet. And of course, that pain in my back is making me paranoid big time.

While in the Dollar Tree this morning, I got a phone call from my step-sister, Shannon who lives in Bonney Lake. Sadly, her husband, Ed passed away unexpectedly.  What a shock. She said he wasn't having any health issues; just complained of being tired. I assume it was a heart attack.  He wasn't that old either.  Probably early 70's.  I don't have that many pictures of him but here's one I took at my step-brother's funeral in 2010.

Today is my cousin, Lee Arey's birthday, and I posted this picture on Facebook, taken in 2008 at my Uncle Jim's funeral.
Here's a picture I saw on Facebook of the old McConaghy farm out on Center Road in Chimacum.  Fascinating picture.
Here's my latest quilt project.  It's only about 24x35 so I'm using it as wall hanging. Made with the crumb quilt technique I saw on You Tube.

This last photo was posted by my cousin, Bonnie, in Pomeroy. Shows her bathing in her homemade hot tub.  She's so funny.

Well, I'm going to go get my jammies on now. Wish I wasn't so dang tired all the time.
I take a daily nap but thankfully, seem to wake up automatically after 30-40 minutes.
Sure doesn't seem to make me feel peppier, though.  It's only 7:30 pm right now and I think I'll probably be in bed before 9.
