Was supposed to go to the doctor this afternoon but appt was cancelled because of illness. Going in tomorrow with someone else. Doctor appts are about all I have on my calendar most months now.
I'm working on another quilt project (trying to put a dent in my material collection) and the latest one has 640 small squares about 2 inches by 2 inches. It's gonna' be a colorful thing when I'm done. And I'm not worrying about corners meeting or any special design. Just sewing along.
Came across the Jefferson County Facebook page and scrolled through the many photos they posted over time. Here's some I especially liked....... (click on photos to enlarge)
I've seen aerial photos of the PT high school buildings before but this one is a little different.
Just love the old Water Street buildings of years ago.
This snow scene of people walking up the sidewalk on Washington St. was kind of pretty.
I have this picture for my desktop on my computer but my photo doesn't have the train showing. That house by the train (in middle of picture) is the pink house I lived in during party of my marriage. Now that I look closer at this picture, I half wonder if that "train"? is not a train but a building on the golf course? Wish I could see it better.
Leetha Smith,Roger Horner, Curt Russ, Betty Grewell (Rhody senior royalty) with Mike and Paula Macdonald standing in back.
Am rewatching 'Breaking Bad' on Netflix. Mostly while I sew. Last night I came across the "Thriller" shows from 1960. Corny to say the least but still fun to watch.
Maddie's coming home from college this weekend so her and Jenni and me will go out for breakfast on Saturday morning. Barbara Shaw and I are making plans to hook up this week too. That'll be good for me. Sometimes I go days without speaking to anyone.
Well, my laptop battery says "plug me in!" so I guess I'd better end this here.
