I've felt kind of punk the last couple of weeks. Half suspect the antibiotic I've been on is messing with my system which is never all that regular and nice to me anyhow. If you get my drift. I decided to quit taking it today. I might take it every other day. Or not. We'll see.
Yesterday I took my sister to Sequim. 9:30 appt at the denture clinic. 11 a.m. appt at the Animal Hospital. They were running behind so Lucy didn't get in until 11:30 and we had sat outside in the car since about 10:20. Drove down to Walmart at noon and my daughter had drove in from Port Angeles to visit with Janie while I went inside to get the items I needed. Should have used a motorized cart. I was dragging big time by the time I finished. Of course everything on my list was on opposide sides of the store. We went to Jack in the Box for a quick burger but they didn't have their act together (not the first time) and we sat in the line (felt like hostages) for 20 minutes! I won't go there again. That's nonsense.
I was so exhausted when I got home. Watched the debate for a while but they were putting me to sleep so I headed off to bed. Tossed and turned all night long. I got up today around 6 or so and started in on my usual routine to snap out of the bed blues. I always feel like crap in the mornings for at least an hour. It never used to be that way.
I gave my breakfast to my neighbor. Decided eggs with bacon or sausage on a regular basis wasn't doing my body any good. Sometimes they have a small waffle or a pancake and sometimes a small bowl of fruit, a sweet roll, or a muffin. I opted instead to fix myself a bowl of oatmeal and have a toasted English muffin. Are you bored to tears yet? Sorry. It's about all I haveI made a quick stop at Michael's in Sequim to pick up card stock as I want to try and make some photo cards. I've got so many Port Townsend pictures I can use so it should be fun.
I had two small quilts in the works and needed to get them quilted and hemmed to set aside as gifts. Mission accomplished.
One fun thing I do living in a smaller apartment is to find ways to use my space better. The desire to rearrange comes upon me without warning. Today it was right after dinner when I decided it was time to move the microwave and switch where I have the dish strainer and put the butcher knives and steak knives in with the silverware. It was amazing how much counter space I freed up.
