BOOKS I WANT TO READ

Gees, three blog posts in one day. What's going on here?   I have been wanting to get back into reading. Easy to say, harder to walk the walk.  I went on Google looking for the name of a certain author who wrote about the Royals (Kitty Kelley) and then I came across all these other lists of books that people should read.  Titles like ...you should reread these books you hated in high school.

I wrote down a lot that I thought I'd like to try. Kind of embarrassed that I've actually read so few books in my life.  Like the classics (and others).  Library is closed and I can't keep going to thriftbooks.com every time I think I need a book.  I've done that about three or four times already and then lost interest. So....

If anybody in Port Townsend or Hadlock has any of these books I could borrow, I'd sure appreciate it. I'd give it back when I'm done but I'm a slow reader so it might take a while. I end up falling asleep.  But if I had a book on loan, maybe I'd be better at sticking with it. Here's my list:

Shop Girl  - Steve Martin (I actually had this book once and never read it) Story of my life.

Palo Alto - James Franco

By Myself - Lauren Bacall

Great Expectations - Charles Dickens

The Divine Comedy - Dante Alighieri

The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini

As I lay dying - William Faulkner

The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath

Frankenstein - Mary Shelley

Their Eyes were watching God - Zora Neale Hurston

The Royals - Kitty Kelley

The Family: Bushes - Kitty Kelley

His Way (Sinatra) - Kitty Kelley

I can come pick it up if you have one.  And thank you!
