My Sunday

It's 3:45 and I just woke up from a recliner nap.  I sure have needed naps lately.  I stayed up until 10 last night and as  recall, I didn't have that much trouble dropping off. I suppose the gray weather might be contributing to it to some degree. That and that fact, I'm getting older every day. I know everybody gets older  but you notice it way more when you're past 70. I turned the Seahawks on and it's already 4th quarter. They better get their act together pretty soon now.  My nap was interrupted a few times with various apartment house noises....people talking and laughing in the hall, and the food waiter pushing his noisy cart with dishes down the hall (there are two fire door floor thingies for him to push over and it always makes a big racket)  Then my refrigerator started popping and making weird noises like it seems to do on  a regular basis. My phone make a ting a ling noise telling me an email had arrived and then I heard this strange sound that made me jump awake. It was me!  Snoring. I've slept alone for 38 years now but I've suspected I probably snore from time to time. I don't care. Unless it wakes me up.  Sometimes I get these loud whistling noises coming from my nose too and those always make me jump.

I knew my energy level wasn't going to get too high today so I pushed myself early on to get the things done I wanted to get done.  I had some homemade egg noodles waiting for me in the fridge so I made up a bowl of soup using two chicken legs and carrots and onions I had onhand.

I finished the cross stitch on another Xmas ornament last night so I sewed it up and added it to my collection of gifts.

Yesterday I decided my little tree really need ornaments so I added half a dozen of my favorites. Course this picture doesn't do it justice but the ornaments (homemade by my cousin are so cute)
The others that she made I have hanging from a red ribbon on my quilt wall.
I know these are repeat pictures but it's all I got for now.  Well, I do have two more bags I finished up today. Put the long strap handles on and will gift them out too.
I watched a show on Amazon Prime last night about a Life Magazine photographer and it was pretty interesting to hear his stories. Tonight I'll get back to Bosch.

Well, dinner has arrived to I guess I'll close this rather boring blog post for today. Looks like ham and mac & cheese.
