Woody does Port Townsend

Mary Gaboury and I had a pleasant afternoon.  We drove around Morgan Hill looking at all the fancy wancy houses and how they're all so very large.  Just a tad depressing at times as we remembered the town of our youth.  We drove here and there with Woody (from Toy Story) with us so we could show him the sights.  (click on pics to enlarge)

He was keen on seeing the beaches among other things.....

Here we are at Fort Worden Beach where we set up our picnic lunch.

From there we headed to North Beach, Point Hudson Beach, the Y Beach, and Kai Tai Lagoon.
                                                                       North Beach
                                                                  Point Hudson Beach
                                                                   TheY Beach
More at the Y where Mary and I realized the railroad trestles have been removed.  I didn't remember that.

Went down the swamp road (It's a dead end now) and I remembered my early days of bike riding
We stopped at Penny Saver to pick up our lucky 4th of July lotto tickets....
I found a penny and a dime on the sidewalk. From there we went to McDonalds and got ice cream cones.

Other views was this one from the swamp road area of the courthouse

My brother, Les stopped in with his great grandchildren, Lily and Parker so I gave them all quilts.
And Les (bless his heart) gifted me with a very generous early birthday present of $$$. Gave the same to Janie.

If Mary and I aren't too tired, we plan on going back downtown at 5:30 to look at the Raker's Club cars in the Plaza parking lot.
