Just spent the day working around the house. Finished tying my purple quilt so tomorrow I'll do the borders and it should be done. Rearranged the living room because every time I settle in for a nap, the sun decides to come out and I have to get up and close the curtains. When I first sit down, the sky is dark and gray and I figure the sun is not gonna' show. I needed a change anyhow.
Listening to an audio book by Stuart Woods called The Run. It's pretty good. Watched a few quilt videos on tv that Youtube offers so I'm anxious to get going on new projects. I sure wish I had the money to invest in more material. Some of the designs and colors I see have me drooling. Same with the sewing machines and various tools. And batting. Everything costs too much.
Andy and Mary took Jake to Safeco Field today so I got to enjoy pictures on Facebook.
I rearranged my sewing room a little bit a couple days ago as I didn't like where my cutting table was. Much better now and I'll probably spend many happy hours settled in there.
I finished knitting a pair of slippers yesterday so I guess I'll pull out my crochet hook and see about restarting that afghan I lost interest in.
Just looked over my birthday calendar list and find FIVE people have passed away that I usually sent cards to. Makes me sad.
Nothing much else today so off to the recliner I go. Lookin' forward to Downton Abbey.
