Facebook Funnies

I often save funny and/or cute pictures and sayings I see on Facebook.  Sometimes I even send for a reprint and put the picture on my fridge.  You gotta get your laughs where you can.  Here's one my son-in-law posted yesterday that made me snort.
He also posted this blue ribbon winner that reminded me how happy I am that I don't go to work anymore.
How I hated those stupid meetings. And there was always one or two people there (brown noses of the first degree) who prolonged the meeting with boring questions.  I wanted to wring their necks.  One woman especially comes to mind but just about everything that came out of her mouth made me want to wring her neck!

This next one really made me laugh because it's (sadly) who I am...
Now THAT'S funny!

Got an email this morning from my cousin, Cindy, in Gig Harbor as she babysits her twin grandbabies. She's so happy to be a gramma and I know exactly where she's coming from.

I woke up with a killer calf cramp this morning.  Been a while since I've been bothered with those suckers!  At the time (or at least in dream time) I was right in the middle of a busy busy dream where I was at my Aunt Lillian's house with my cousin, Linda, and I was trying to convince her to let me and Linda rearrange the living room and dining room.  She had a piano and other pieces of furniture that were completely foreign to me and were pieces my aunt never owned.

I was sure I could make her house roomier if she would just let me go to it.  I grabbed a broom and wondered where her old dust mop was as that was easier to clean her floors. As I proceeded to sweep,  I yelled "just a minute...hold on...help me...wait...I've got a leg cramp coming on...help me...help me!"  AND THEN I WOKE UP.  I struggled to get out of bed and stretch.  Oh, the agony.  Not the best way to start my Saturday.  For one thing, I was still tired and wanted to sleep longer. Grrrrrr....

I took a hot shower, curled my hair (a real necessity every day now or I look just like an old witch) and I put on the coffee.  Had a small breakfast as I surfed the net, worked my crossword, and filled my hummingbird feeders.  Once I unloaded the dishwasher, I knew my chores were done for the day so I could concentrate on the red, white, and blue quilt I intend to work on at the kitchen table.

I fixed a roasted chicken with stove top and gravy last night so leftovers will allow me to not have to prepare supper. I always like that.  Decided to run to Safeway to pick up one of their chicken pizzas for the game tomorrow.  Really wanted some root beer or diet Coke but I sometimes think leg cramps are aggravated with soda so I declined and picked up some frozen juice instead.

My oldest daughter said she was coming by  around noon to use my computer so I guess if I'm gonna get that short recliner nap, I'd best to it right now.  The debate starts at 5 and I'm all ready to give my tv set the finger as Trump and Cruz show again was asses they are!

And that about does it for this early weekend morning.  Have a good time watching the game.
