I can't say that these exercises are something I look forward to so much that I jump out of bed eager to begin again but, oh well....what else have I got to do? And if it will help me with this ongoing shoulder issue, then I will gladly participate. Going to the doctor was no help; ibuprofen was useless, creams were a waste of time, and getting high on a marijuana brownie wasn't exactly a win-win situation.
Saw the cutest craft on Facebook this morning. I just may send for the book this came out of. There were several that caught my eye including this pompom tree. I can make that.
Maddie came by to get the dog yesterday afternoon and take her for a run. A walk around the block would have probably been better. Maddie got about a half mile or more from the house and Maggie stopped and refused to move. She's a big dog and Maddie was unsuccessful at getting her to budge. A older couple came out and lectured Maddie about how she needs to let her dog rest and that older dogs can't run like younger ones. They also brought her a pan of water.
Maddie was embarrassed, of course. She tried getting Maggie back home via a shortcut route but she was having none of it and insisted they go back the exact same way they had come. When they walked in the door, Maggie hit her water bowl fast and slurped and slurped. Then she laid on the floor and pretty much stayed there the rest of the night. Poor thing. She definitely does not like being outside much. Even when it's sunny and I put her on the deck, she'll stand there and stare through the sliding glass door at me with forlorn eyes until I give in. She's sleeping at my feet now and I know she'll be happy to get back home. Maybe today.
Saw a couple pics on FB of Jake out boating with his folks in Candy and Dean's boat. What a life he's gonna have.
Got up this morning and saw the neighbor finished the chicken house he's been working on in his garage. Sure is cute. They have four little chicks and are expecting at least 4 eggs a day eventually.
I noticed my package of English muffins (not that old either!) was starting to get mold on a couple slices. Hate it when that happens. Figured I'd better use them up quick. Threw half away and made some mini pizzas with the rest. Enough for two dinners. Used leftover veggies from tacos I had made a few days earlier. Carrots, green onions, mushrooms, celery, green pepper, tomatoes, and tiny pieces of pork. Sure was tasty and I love that I don't have to cook tonight.
My "nice people" picture for today....

And a picture I saw on Facebook that I thought was worth keeping. Mountains Hood, Adams, and Rainier. Isn't that magnificent?
Decided it was time I pulled out my large CD collection and started playing them again. Especially since I set up a music corner right by the front door. At least now I'm forced to get up and put on a new song every few minutes. Sometimes when you plop down in front of the computer, you can forget to MOVE IT BABY! This collection also has a couple hundred cassette tapes. Sigh....
