Stopped to take pictures at the lookout a few blocks from Safeway.
Parking lot was crowded so you always have to drive super slow and careful so as not to have a fender bender. I know better than to go that time of day. Ran into Jenni and Wayne loading up their groceries. I had stopped by their house first as I wanted to get pictures of Maddie's big party. Didn't realize it didn't start until 7!
As I walked in, she said: What are you doing here? You can't come to the party. That would just be weird!
Ha! I told her it would not be weird and I could come if I wanted to! She said she expected about 18 kids, boys and girls. Since I had gone to all the trouble to drive over there, I decided at least to get a picture of the yard.
When Hunter was over to hang my curtain rod and was looking for a place to go during the party, I mentioned that he could always hang out at my house. I have HBO now. He wasn't impressed and blew that idea off pretty fast. I guess Gramma is boring now. Probably been boring for quite a few years but that's okay. They'll miss me when I'm gone.
Here's my sewing room curtain. (and yes, this is boring too) Still, with the weatherman talking about hot temps this week and next weekend, I'm glad to have the extra sun block on that side of the house.
This house is set up kind of strange as far as windows go. I have one window in front (my office), this window on the west side of the house, and no windows on the east side. The south side is almost completely windows.
Well, Superman is on so I guess I'll sit down and have a few laughs. Boy, is it corny. And how I loved it back in the day!
