The back of my knee is the focus point right now. Gets worse as I sit and that makes for a sad Joyce because all her favorite things require that she sit on her big fat ass! Yeah, I guess I'm in a mood. But I'll get over myself.
Below are pictures I posed on Facebook of my cartoon Thanksgiving. Love that app on my phone.
Maddie & Hunter at the counter
Tucker and Paul in the living room
Susan taking a picture of me taking a picture
Our dinner group
Me testing out my camera on the tripod with its timer
The only lights I'm stringing for Christmas this year in the back yard
And the front porch will just have a string down the handrail. Easy to dismantle on New Years.
Two birds that came in to feed this morning
The last of the wild flowers in my back yard
My brother, Les, posted this on his FB page. He looks like my dad and my Uncle Jim in this shot.
I plan on working on two small quilts today. I've got the backs tied on; just have to run it through the machine and hem the edges. Will do most of it at the kitchen table where I'll finish watching a movie I started on Netflix. (Cider House Rules) Watched three episodes of Chelsea Handler last night. I just love her! I think it's my favorite show.
I made a quick Safeway run this morning as Jenni is cooking down the turkey and needed onion and carrots for the pot. And cheese cloth. I never knew Safeway sold cheese cloth but then I'm learning all kinds of things with Jen living here. As I left SW, I noticed "my homeless guy with one leg" sitting on Lincoln St in his wheelchair. I gave him a couple of bucks and an extra umbrella I had in the car. It was pouring down rain so he'd better use it!
Hmmmm....I don't want to get my hopes up but I've been sitting here for close to a half hour now and my legs aren't hurting. I sure hope I've solved the problem. I do prefer the other chair, though, so I'm hoping.
Gotta turn off the Sequim radio station now. Their djs are volunteers so I mustn't be too critical but lordy, the women that come on air are way too sweetsy, talkative, irritants. Shame on me.
Gotta go hunt for a get well card now. One of my classmates fell off a ladder and will be hospitalized for a while. I can't even get up on a step stool without being very nervous. And I guess that's all I got this rainy Saturday morn.
