Jenni went downtown to get a tattoo this morning so I thought I'd come down later and take a picture.
She had Proverbs 31:25 and Philippians 4:13 inscribed. I had to go look them up since I don't have the Bible memorized. She told me the parlor was on Laurel between First & Front. I happily found a parking spot and got out to walk around and try to find the place. Asked one homeless guy where the tattoo place was and he told me I could usually catch a cab in front of that restaurant over there. Sigh... I drove around and went into another tattoo place and he directed me to another nearby. It was on Oak Street. Course all that walking made me crabby.
I came home and spent the rest of the day working on tying the baby quilt I'm working on. Man, that was tiring. 144 ties! But it's done and that makes me happy. Tomorrow I'll sew around the borders and wrap it up for the baby shower next month.
Plan on getting back to my book too. Really looking forward to that. Heading to Port Townsend on Saturday morning for a memorial service.
