Another day of confinement

4 p.m. and I've spent entirely too much time on this computer today.  But.....I had to get going on what pictures I want to (maybe) include in my book.  I got about halfway through  my chapters scanning the subject material to see if I may or may not insert a clip art photo or a photograph -- or none at all. What a job!  I knew it was going to be time consuming and yet getting them actually inserted on the pages is the really hard part. I'm dreading that.

Still have another chapter to write too.  Am waiting to see if I get any more "memories" on certain subjects I sent out via email. Glancing over each chapter I realize I've got a great deal of editing to do, as well. Which I knew but now I REALLY KNOW IT!  I don't know where I got this idea that I wanted to write another book.  Course I'm already thinking about the cookbook I want to work on next.

And my genealogy searching needs to be jump started too.  Oh, and then there's the sewing projects I want to work on.  I hope I don't die before I get done what I want to get done.  But if I do, I'll just come back and start all over in my new life.  Did I actually type those words?

Stayed up late to watch Deerhunter last night. Love watching those favorite stars in their early days.
Turner Classic has been running Oscar winners alphabetically. I didn't see any that especially jumped out at me except maybe Honeysuckle Rose, I Remember Mama, and Goodbye Mr. Chips.

It was still snowing this morning but I'm hoping it done now.  The ground is covered with about 7" of snow.  While looking for "something else" earlier today, I came across the 1951 Wawa online. That was fun to look at.  Here's three of the photos I kept.

Guess I'll go see what I can rustle up for dinner.
