Jenni went out to shovel the porch and driveway. Don't think she should have, though, as she's bed napping ever since.
The hummingbirds have certainly been on the scene. Noticed some in my neighbor's yard too.
You have to look close to see this one.
Sammy doesn't seem to mind going out into it but he doesn't waste any time getting back either.
I decided to pull out my supply of old snow pictures and had more than I thought.
December of 2008. We didn't have a fence built yet and some kids knocked over Hunter and Maddie's snowmen during the night. This was our goat pen on San Juan in Port Townsend. We had 30 goats at one time. Well, John did. I just lived there.
This was 2008 again. Only reason I remember is we had just moved in. My dad and me.
This was my mobile in Sequim before I moved to P.A. Sure was a pretty scene.
My pig snowman.
On San Juan Avenue again in Port Townsend. Mid 70s I think

I've spent the day working on my book. Got the introduction page rewritten and a preliminary page of chapter titles. So much more editing to do -- and then there's the picture choices I have to make. Am dreading having to insert them as it's a hard chore when working in Word. Not sure if I'll even bother with it today. Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow morning when I'm fresh and not distracted.
I did set up a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle in the kitchen of book titles. I wasn't going to but I wanted a distraction away from the laptop. As long as we don't lose electricity, I can wait this out. If the snow continues and the ice becomes a problem, we very easily might have power issues. I'll worry about that if and when it happens.
The first thing I thought of when it didn't stop snowing was that Jenni has a doctor appt in Silverdale on Thursday that she really needs to go to. And she's determined that I not go! I wish she was a little more afraid of driving but that doesn't seem to be the case. I don't know where she gets that stuff! I hope she calls on Wayne to drive if the roads are still bad but she can be stubborn sometimes.
The Super Bowl was a mighty tense game to watch. And a very surprising one too. To everybody! Who would have thought those Patriots would come back like that?!
Man, but my hands are rough and ugly today. Thank god my face is still pretty. Ha!
And with that ridiculous comment, I'm off.
