Jenni has been helping me learn my new cell phone as it's similar to hers and what a relief. So many things I just plain NEVER would have figured out on my own. My mind just doesn't work that way!
I'm really loving it. Especially when I can talk to google to go find something for me. And the camera is better. Although I still can't get it to connect to my computer to transfer pictures. Keeps telling me there's nothing there -- but there is!
I had to change the notifications as they were set to ding at me everytime someone commented on facebook as well as when I got a text or a message or an email. TOO MUCH! Now it just dings for texts and messages which Jenni says I really need to keep in case someone is trying to contact me. I can also text easier now as it figures out the word I'm trying to type. Need all the help I can get.
I see a hole in the bottom and am wondering if I get earbuds and figure out how to download music if I can listen using my phone. I'm betting I can.
My book is coming right along, slow but sure. Going to take me a while to edit, however. I've already found a couple of spots where I think I'm repeating myself. (having to do with family history)
I've also got to format the pages down to 6x9 and then get various pictures inserted within that size.
Very difficult to play with but I'll manage.
I did set up a jigsaw puzzle in the kitchen to play around with. Didn't realize that it was as large as it. Takes up the entire card table.
Went to lunch with John O'Brien yesterday. Wanted to try out this hamburger place I'd heard about but it was a waste of money. I went online to read the comments and it was half and half. People either loved it or hated it. John's breakfast looked pretty good but my hamburger was terrible.
Think I'll hit Safeway after the shower. The roads are clear but my neighborhood still has a lot of snow on the ground. The rest of the town has none.
Hunter was in this competition in Tacoma? recently where he competed against other teens in an automobile maintenance/repair thingie. (Skills USA) Welding, dent repair, plastic repair, estimation, tram gauge, suspension identification, and job interview with test. He came in third and goes to state finals in April or May.
And that's it for now.
