It's Done Now!

Been working for hours day after day to get the final edit done on my book.  Today was the day I said "It's finished."   If there are errors, they're just going to have to stay put. But I'm fairly certain, the copy is good.  Tomorrow I'll run  downtown to get a copy made at the local office supply store. Then I'll hook up with the publisher (online) to make sure I've completed everything I need to do.

I may take out an ad in the Leader. I do have an ad set up for the PTHS Alumni newsletter, and of course, I'll be emailing and posting on Facebook.  Am hoping to put a few copies in a book store in downtown Port Townsend and I will probably sell it on eBay.

I decided not to sell on Amazon because it costs $15 a month (I think?) and you need an ISBN#.  I was going to get one but I realized my book will mostly interest those folks with a Port Townsend connection. And that ISBN with bar code costs $150!  A little steep considering I don't even know how many I will sell.

Not to brag, but I like this book and I think people will enjoy it.  I never brag on myself (except when I'm being sarcastic) but I will say -- this one is pretty good.

I ended up with 256 pages and dozens and dozens of photos. All black and white and paperback. Cost will be $20 with free shipping. I do intend to try and deliver copies to PT, Chimacum, Hadlock, and Sequim folks.  I'm attaching a chapter list here so you can get a general idea of what the pages contain.

I'm going to share this blog post on Facebook to get more coverage. Please share it on your page.
I assume the book will be printed and delivered the first of April but I'm taking orders now. Those of you who already ordered (about 55 of you) --THANK YOU SO MUCH!
