Three Boys and a Fish

Always read "Looking Back" in my hometown paper, The Port Townsend Leader. This item appeared under the 60 years ago section:

60 Years Ago (1957)

Bill Arey, Paul Marriott and Robbie Strain are pictured with a 121-pound halibut that Arey, 16, hooked on a hand line. The three boys beached the halibut after nearly an hour of fighting off the Shell Oil dock. Arey was fishing with whole perch as bait and 30-pound test line.

                                                                Rob, Paul, and Bill

Rob and Bill are both cousins of mine. They graduated a year ahead of me in 1960.  I was at their 50-year reunion in 2010 and was lucky enough to get a group shot of them with a few other fellows. (click on picture to enlarge)
Rob Strain, Paul Marriott, Bill Hendricks, Bill Arey, John Buhler, Dave Marriott (class of '61) and Don Edney.
