The Yearbook

Maddie let me bring her yearbook home overnight so I could look it over. Man oh man, have yearbooks changed since I was in high school.  I think our annual cost under $5. Theirs was around $60. All color, of course, and all the pictures are sharp and clear. Do love digital cameras!

The cover is especially nice too. Says "Our Roots Run Deep"

Senior superlatives had a few unusual twists along with the ones you'd expect to see in a yearbook. Titles like: Most likely to be friends forever.....Most likely to become a late-night talk show host....Most likely to end up in Forbes 30 under 30.....Most likely to end up on Broadway....Best to take home to your parents....Worst case of senioritis.... Most likely to be late to graduation.... Asks the best questions in class

I took some pictures of some of the yearbook photos so I could add them to my blog.... they're not that clear here but then they are pictures of pictures. (click to enlarge)

Jenni surprised them with a picture of their grandparents who passed away recently.
So sweet.

Graduation is June 15th at Civic Field. Jen & Wayne are throwing them a party the following day at 3 pm. Mostly just family but Maddie and Hunter's boyfriend and girl friend are coming too.  Good picture opportunity. I'm excited.

If Catie can make it, all my grandkids will be there. THIS TIME I will remember to get a picture of me with all FOUR OF THEM!  Think I'll wear my wig so I'll be extra cute.
