Well, as usual, I'm tired. But it was a busy day and I put over 160 miles on the car. I left the house at 9:30 and reentered my garage at 5 pm. Whew! But I like getting a lot of things done if I'm going to make that drive into PT. Traffic seemed to be heavy the entire way coming and going.
First stop was to pick up Mary Norton at her place in Sequim. From there we drove to Joanne Gilles' new house in Port Ludlow. Got a little lost a couple times but we made it. Traffic wasn't light in that area either. Seemed like every time I slowed down to figure out where I wanted to go, there was a car behind me. Joanne is still in the process of moving in. Beautiful place and their yard being put in came with the house.
Here's Mary and Joanne as we prepare to go into PT

I love her front lawn
She has a huge deck in back with grass there, as well, but their property goes back beyond those trees.
This is her sewing room and the view from her machine is DELIGHTFUL!
Here's her kitty and my second favorite room was her office. Course I loved the front room and kitchen too.
We went for lunch at Kris Logue's place. I always head straight to her deck and take pictures the minute I get there. Best view in town!
Kris set out a wonderful salad bar -- lettuce, tomatoes, red peppers, green peppers, boiled egg, croutons, peas, cucumbers, corn, and several dressings. The table was set very pretty and she made these WONDERFUL muffins. (I had two!) Dessert was strawberries and homemade chocolate chip cookies. I had two of those, as well.
After leaving there, we went to the post office so Joanne could check her mail. She had forgot her phone at Kris' so we had to drive back. I gave her hell for that. ha ha
Then we made our way to various homes of people I wanted to gift a small quilt to. That was fun but it started to get too hot and a couple places had stairs that my body didn't feel like climbing. I stopped by Martha & Don Thomas' place out on Hastings but she was indisposed so I'll catch her next time. I did drop off a quilt, though.
Other stops included....
Judi Robbins
Carol Plaster
Karen House
From there we drove to my brother, Dana's place and I took a picture of Lill's latest quilt. She always does such a super job.
They have several apple trees and gifted each of us with a sack of apples to take home for pie making. Yum!
I was happy to get home again. I love going into town but it seems to wear me out more every time. Oh well, at least I can still get myself in there.
