It's Snowing

I think it started to come down about 11 pm last night. I watched for it all day long.  I'm all settled in with food, warm clothes, flashlights, and hobbies. Will most likely miss my friend, Ruth's, funeral on Sunday.  Am watching golf in Hawaii at the moment.  They're having their weather issues too what with rainfall and winds.

My hummingbird feeder was covered in snow so I shoveled off a path to it this morning and put in fresh sugar water. They showed up right away.

I've probably got about 6" or so in the yard area.  It's pretty but I'd just as soon see it gone.

I watched The Critics Awards last night. Not impressed with The Joker winning so many Oscar nominations but what do I know?  Al Pacino and Robert Deniro were sure looking old. Joe Pesci too but then they are all old. I couldn't believe this one woman who came on stage (with huge boobs) and how exposed they were in the dress she wore.  Outrageous. Think I'll go see if I can find her online. Well, this picture doesn't look that bad but when she was running up the steps, I really wondered if they were gonna stay in her dress. That couldn't have been comfortable but again, what do I know?

Well, I guess I'll work on my jigsaw a bit and maybe get back into my book by Gregg Olsen. Gonna fix a homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner and get back on track with my dieting. I made a pan a small square pan of homemade brownies last night but think I used too much cocoa as they were a tad bitter. Just as well. I tossed out almost the whole pan this morning.

I've got a couple of sewing projects in the works so will spend some time in there too. Otherwise, it's pretty much recliner time this week.
